PAIN
The PFM’s are at the bottom of the pelvis which attaches to the spine and hips. The PFM’s can either be a driver for many pain syndromes, or become dysfunctional because of the other pain syndromes (the chicken or the egg
situation) such as:
- Low back pain, lumbosacral dysfunction
- Sacroiliac joint (SIJ) dysfunction
- Hip pain
- Ischial tuberosity pain (SITS bone pain)
- Abdominal pain
- Genital, perineum pain
- Coccydynia (tailbone pain)
- Dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual cycles)
- Endometriosis (overgrowth of uterine lining)
- Vaginosis, vaginismus, BV (bacterial vaginosis)
